Skiing Hochötz 2019
Following a wonderful tradition, we have enjoyed again the beautiful scenery of the Oetztal alps on our group retreat to the Bielefelder Hütte.

Thomas Carell was the scientific organizer of the annual European Symposium on Biological and Organic Chemistry. We enjoyed an excellent meeting at a wonderful location in Gregynog, Wales.

Research is leading on slippery ground and thin ice more often than expected. We try to be prepaired by frequent training.

Summer Do
Summer without barbecue is like Chemistry without solvents. Our yearly Summer Do takes place with the hospitality of the Carell family. Note the exemplary hand gesture and the high-tech devices when igniting the carbon ;-).

B2Run
Our team proved endurance and had a lot of fun - at B2Run 2017 in Munich. More than 30,000 participants from around 1,500 companies ran through the Olympic Park to the Olympic Stadium during this regularly sold-out event.

Skiing Hochötz
Skiing for Bavarians is like pipetting for biochemists. As we are so close to the Alps, our winter trips are, of course, for skiing. Non-skiers simply enjoy the magnificent scenery.
